Spray polyurethane foam isn't just for walls and roofs. For over 25 years, SprayTight has used the unique properties of SPF for creative, industrial, and one-of-a-kind applications across Michigan — if you can imagine it, we can probably foam it.
Commercial, Residential & Industrial Applications
Spray foam's lightweight structure, adhesion to nearly any surface, and ability to be sculpted after curing make it the perfect material for projects far beyond traditional insulation. Our applicators have used SPF for:
- Creating realistic, one-of-a-kind movie prop structures
- Forming artificial berms on top of buildings or other objects
- Designing backyard oases with sculpted waterfalls and streams
- Theming, signage, and architectural shapes
- Flotation, void filling, and buoyancy applications
- Sound-deadening for studios and equipment rooms

Why Spray Foam Works for Unusual Projects
Sculptable
SPF expands to fill any form and can be carved and coated after curing — ideal for props, terrain, and freeform shapes.
Lightweight
Foam adds structure and volume with very little weight, so it can go on rooftops, stages, and floats safely.
Waterproof
Closed-cell foam paired with polyurea coatings stands up to water features, weather, and wear.
Industrial Grade
The same material we trust on commercial roofs and storage tanks backs every creative build.
Trusted by Michigan Businesses
SprayTight has completed projects for Costco, Bed Bath & Beyond, Consumers Energy, the City of Midland, Detroit Beer Co., CEMEX, and many more Michigan organizations. Whatever your project — from metal buildings to movie sets — our SPFA-member crew has the equipment and experience to do it right. See examples in our project gallery.
Can spray foam really be used for art and props?
Yes. SPF expands into any mold or armature and can be carved, sanded, and hard-coated after it cures, which is why prop shops and theme designers use it for rocks, terrain, signage, and sculptures.
Is foam durable enough for outdoor water features?
When topped with a polyurea or elastomeric coating, sculpted foam handles ponds, waterfalls, and Michigan freeze-thaw cycles very well.
What unusual projects have you completed?
Movie prop structures, rooftop berms, backyard waterfall oases, flotation and void-fill jobs, and custom industrial applications across Michigan.
